Challenge
To work with the main contractor, security consultants and client to design and install access control systems, CCTV systems and alarm systems for the client's new head office in line with the fit-out schedule. Also to liaise with client’s facilities and IT department to implement the move to a new card technology plus implement integration to third party systems and databases.
Solution
Inet Seven from Schneider Electric was chosen to control the 150+ access control doors, which was centralised to allow the client to add cardholders to doors instantly plus monitor the client's four other facilities within the UK.
Dedicated Micros latest generation DVIP servers provide continuous recording and distribution of images from the 100+ cameras, all of which have centralised power and video transmission via CAT 6 cabling using NVT's power and video HUBs. The cameras themselves have built in IR lighting to allow them to operate even with the lighting off allowing the client to maintain security and save energy.
End Result
The project was fully commissioned and handed over on time and on budget allowing the client a hassle free transition into their new building.
