Challenge
To work with main contractor, security consultants and client to design and install access control systems, CCTV systems and visitor management systems for the client's new head office in line with the fit-out schedule. Also to integrate to the existing basebuild turnstiles and the client's existing follow me printing systems to provide a single card solution.
Solution
Inet Seven from Schneider Electric was chosen to control the 100+ access control doors, which was centralised to update all the system databases via industry standard SQL .
Dedicated Micros latest generation DVIP servers provide continuous recording and distribution of images from the 50+ cameras, all of which have centralised power and video transmission via CAT 6 cabling using NVT's power and video HUBs. The cameras themselves have built in IR lighting to allow them to operate even with the lighting off allowing the client to maintain security and save energy.
End Result
The project was fully commissioned and handed over on time and on budget allowing the client a hassle free transition into their new building.
